Coco d’Or is a jazz band, with Hiroko Shimabukuro as a singer. Hiroko Shimabukuro, also known as hiro, is a former member of a Japanese girl band, SPEED.
Their first release is a self-titled album “Coco d’Or”, which has been released in 2004. Their latest release is “Coco d’Or Parfait”, which contained same songs from the first album and extra three new songs. There is also a DVD of the promotional videos and making-of shoots included. Their new album will be released on July 26, 2006. The title is “Coco d’Or 2″. There will be a CD+DVD version too like before.
Coco d’Or songs are modern-remake version of popular classic jazz songs, such as “Misty” by Ella Fitzgerald and “Fly Me to The Moon” by Frank Sinatra.
