Tokyo Rose, or The 80’s are back!

So we got this email from Derek Buckham, about his band Tokyo Rose, “the Cover Girl of ROCK”. What a statement! He asked us to check it out. And we did. And I felt it should be featured on 3Yen. Better than “Turning Japanese” by The Vapors, and Alphaville’s “Big In Japan”, Tokyo Rose is everything you expect from the 80’s.
Straight from Tokyo Rose’s website:
Derek Buckham penned the original material whilst Val Ophield sang and created the unique 80’s image.
Tokyo Rose prided themselves of never covering anyone else’s material during their live concerts and to this day, they have played hundreds of live concerts gaining a good following of fans.
However the Major Record deal has always eluded them but it has never deterred them from producing Great Music.
The site features mp3 files to download, but it is really the video that you must watch. Enjoy it here now! (The download is very slow but it is worth it, believe me. Up until the very last frame.)
